The Working With Children Check (WWCC) is a prerequisite for anyone in child-related work. In order to provide your services to Southern Highlands Nannies you must apply for the WWCC before you can begin working with Southern Highlands Nannies.

The result of a WWCC will provide a clearance to work with children for five years. You are required to pay the $80 fee for a five year clearance. This equates to $16 per year and it involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct.

To Apply for a WWCC Click the Start Here‘ button on the right side ofThe NSW Commission for Children and Young PeopleWebsite.

If you are cleared, you will receive an email (or letter if you do not have an email address) from the Office of the Children’s Guardian, which contains your WWC number. Please check all inboxes including your spam and junk folders. We will verify your clearance online with your WWC number, surname and date of birth.
